The Driving Tests
Theory Test: this is made up of two parts; the multiple choice and the hazard perception. You need to pass both parts to pass the theory test. Once you have passed the theory test you can then apply to take your practical driving test.
The multiple choice is 50 questions in 57 minutes and the pass mark is 43.
The hazard perception is 14 video clips and the pass mark is 44 out of 75.
Practical Test: will last about 40 minutes and include driving in a range of typical road and traffic conditions. Also you will be asked to carry out 2 set exercises. You can make up to 15 minor faults and still pass.
